Authority Mag- The Future Is Now: Joe Wolfel Of Terradepth On How Their Technological Innovations Will Shake Up The Tech Scene

Asa part of our series about cutting-edge technological breakthroughs, I had the pleasure of interviewing Joe Wolfel, Chief Executive Officer.

Joe is the CEO and founder of Terradepth, Inc., a technology company focused on scaling ocean data acquisition and delivery for increased maritime awareness and decision-making. Terradepth designs and builds ocean-going robots at scale, deploys them, and delivers data through a bespoke data management solution to a wide base of commercial and government customers.

Prior to Terradepth, Joe held leadership roles at the McChrystal Group, a consultancy focused on transferring lessons learned from military special operations to the private sector. Joe also led Special Projects for Synexxus, a defense technology company that designed advanced technology for combat applications.

Prior to these roles, Joe served as a Navy SEAL, conducting multiple deployments through the Middle East and Africa. His time as a SEAL officer spanned operational and staff roles, leading assault elements in combat as well as overseeing strategic planning, force management, and international partnership expansion. Joe was educated at the US Naval Academy, graduating with Honors, as a Secretary of the Navy Distinguished Scholar, and ranked 8th overall in his class.
